This is an experimental multimedia work where artists from different disciplines will work together to veer away from the standard theatre-media format of audience-stage-screen. Such distancing, we feel, require defamiliarizing strategies that inevitably means a rethinking of the relationship between body, image and space, as well as different degrees of disorientation for physically-present audience members. the war machine takes place in-between audience, in derelict spaces and steps outside of established genres.

The performance

.. static form is not relevant, forces and substances are the sources of movement. An interactive performance installation in which the audience is an active subject of the performance process.
..the body is changing together with the changing of the environment. Is an investigation into the transformation of the body and the passage of 'body states'.
live streaming of images from computer-source interacting with the sound sources, performers and audience.
"lichtklang" instrument and sculpture transformation of light into sound every place has a different light-situation that means the response of the instrument is never the same. trying to keep it in check is useless The light-intensity can be altered by the hands some effects like delays and a special set of self-made ring-modulators and battery-driven amplifier. The electric energy on is mostly from sun-collectors.
a mechanic machine that makes electronic music. In the technic of the dancemachine this microchiptechnology is enlarged to clearly visible proportions (its a machine in the shape of a circle with a 170 cm diameter) In fact the Dance machine is a very simple mechanic computer , realtime programmable like a 1920 s' mechanics . The movement of the machine produces the music ,to manipulate the music a real physical act is necessary
